Does One Mean One?

In the religious world you would think "one" meant "two" or more. Open your Bible and check these "Ones":

  1. There is only one God, (Ephesians 4:6).
  2. God gave His one and only Son, (John 3:16).
  3. Christ promised to built one church, (Matthew 16:18).
  4. He prayed that the one church would be unified, (John 17:21).
  5. The Lord added saved people to only one church, (Acts 2:47).
  6. The Holy Spirit condemned division among followers of Christ, (1Corinthians 1:10-13).
  7. The Holy Spirit taught that there was but one body of believers, (Ephesians 4:4; 1Corinthians 12:13).
  8. The Holy Spirit emphatically stated that this one body is the church, (Ephesians 1:22,23; Colossians 1:24).
  9. Christ gave Himself for only one church, (Acts 20:28; Ephesians 5:25).
  10. Christ is the Savior of only one church, His body, (Ephesians 5:23).

May all of those in the religious world give rapt attention to this truth!
